Eleris Energy Global is a subsidiary of Pacific Energy Group, United States
On 20 June 2021, the President of Eleris Energy Global Mr. David Taylor met the Minister of Environment Forest and Climate Change (MOEFCC) and sought his assistance in conducting Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the construction of the power plant (FE 2021). In the meeting, Eleris informed that the power plant was under construction, although there is nothing mentioned about the power plant in Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) the progress report June 2022 (BPDB 2022)
