Current Status: Operation
Narsingdi 22 MW Gas Power Plant, also known as Doreen Narsingdi Power Plant, is a reciprocating engine-based power plant situated in Chinishpur under Narsingdi Sadar Upazila in Narsingdi District of Bangladesh (Location: 23.9189, 90.6925). It is sponsored by Doreen Power Generations and Systems Limited (DPGSL), a subsidiary of Doreen Group, as a Small Independent Power Producer (SIPP) for 15 years. The sponsor declared its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 21 December 2008 and, as per schedule, the power plant will retire on 20 December 2023.
Capacity
The installed (gross) and derated (net) capacity of Doreen Narsingdi Power Plant is 23.2 MW and 22 MW respectively.
