Current Status: Operation
Juldha 100 MW Furnace Oil Power Plant (Unit-III), also known as Acorn Juldha Unit-3 Power Plant, is a reciprocating engine power plant situated in Dhangarchar of Juldha Union under Patiya Upazila in Chattogram District of Bangladesh (Location: 22.2974, 91.8037). It is sponsored by Acorn Infrastructure Services Unit-3 Limited (AISIIIL), a subsidiary of Bangla Trac Limited, as a private Independent Power Producer (IPP) for 15 years. The sponsor declared its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 9 November 2018 and, as per schedule, the power plant will retire 8 November 2033.
Capacity
The installed and net capacity of Juldha (Unit-I) power plant is 108 MW and 100 MW respectively.
