Current Status: Operation
Jangalia 33 MW Power Plant, also known as Summit Jangalia Power Plant, is a Domestic Fossil Gas (DFG) based small power plant situated at Batabaria, Courtbaria, Bishwaroad Halima Nagar Under Comilla Sadar Upazila of Comilla District of Bangladesh (Location: 23.4422, 91.1525). It is sponsored by Summit Power Limited (SPL), a subsidiary of Summit Group, as a Small Independent Power Producer (SIPP) for 15 years. The sponsor declared its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 25 June 2009 and, as per schedule, the power plant will retire on 24 June 2024.

The installed (gross) capacity of the power plant is 33 MW.
