Current Status: Operation
Jamalpur 95 MW Furnace Oil Power Plant, also known as Powerpac Jamalpur IPP, is a reciprocating engine power plant situated in Shahapur under Jamalpur Sadar Upazila in Jamalpur District of Bangladesh (Location: 24.9105, 89.9613). It is operated by PowerPac Mutiara Jamalpur Power Plant Limited (PMJPL), a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of PowerPac Holdings Limited (PPHL) under Sikder Group, as a private Independent Power Producer (IPP) for 15 years. The sponsor declared its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 29 November 2016 and, as per schedule, the power plant is to retire on 28 November 2031.
Capacity
The installed and net capacity of the power plant is 107.09 MW and 94.843 MW respectively.
