Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) issued a Letter of Intent (LOI) on 11 March 2019 as a preliminary commitment to commission the power plant. After getting the LOI, the sponsor company signed Roof Leasing Agreements (RLA) with 22 buildings in Jamalpur district town (BPDB 2022).
Context
According to the LOI, the Commercial Operation Date of the power plant is scheduled as August 2022 but the respective Power Purchase Agreement is yet to be signed (BPDB 2022).
