Hatiya 15 MW Furnace Oil Power Plant, also known as Desh Energy Hatiya Power Plant, is a reciprocating engine-based power plant situated in the Power House premises on Hatiya Island under Hatiya Upazila in Noakhali District of Bangladesh (Location: 22.2372, 91.1422). It is operated by Desh Energy Hatiya Power Company Limited (DEHPL), a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of Desh Energy Limited (DEL) under Mohammadi Group, as a private Independent Power Producer (IPP) for 15 years.
Capacity
The installed (gross) and derated (net) capacity of the power plant is 15 MW and 5 MW respectively.
