Current Status: Operation
Brahmangaon 100 MW Diesel Power Plant, also known as Aggreko Brahmangaon Power Plant, is a reciprocating engine-based power plant situated in Brahmangaon under Keraniganj Upazila in Dhaka District of Bangladesh (Coordinates: 23.6346, 90.4553). It is sponsored by Aggreko Power Solutions Limited (APSL), a subsidiary of Aggreko International Projects Limited (AIPL), as a private Independent Power Producer (IPPP) for five years. The sponsor declared its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 30 May 2018 and, as per schedule, the power plant is to retire on 29 May 2023.
