Sirajganj 410 MW (SNWPCL) Dual Fuel Power Plant (Unit 4)

Sirajganj 410 MW Dual Fuel Power Plant, also known as Sirajganj-IV Power plant or SNWPCL Sirajganj CC Power Plant, is a Combined Cycle (CC) power plant situated at Soydabad Union under Sirajganj Sadar Upazila in Sirajganj District of Bangladesh (Location: 24.3866, 89.7437). It is sponsored by Sembcorp-NWPGCL Power Company Limited (SNWPCL), a Joint Venture Company (JVC) of Sembcorp Utilities Private Limited and North-West Power Generation Company Limited (NWPGCL), as a private Independent Power Producer (IPP) for 22 years. The first unit (282 MW) of the power plant started its commercial operation on 4 October 2018 while the second unit (132 MW) was on 9 April 2019. As per schedule, the units will retire on 3 October 2040 and 8 April 2041 respectively.


Capacity

The installed (gross) and derated (net) capacity of the power plant is 413.792 MW and 410 MW.
