Current Status: Operation
Raozan 25 MW Dual Fuel Power Plant, also known as RPCL Raozan Power Plant, is a reciprocating engine-run power plant situated in Nawapara (Noapara) under Raozan Upazila in Chattogram District of Bangladesh (Location: 22.4460, 91.9315). It is sponsored by Rural Power Company Limited (RPCL), a State-owned Enterprise (SOE) under Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB), as a publicly owned Independent Power Producer (IPP) for 20 years. The power plant started commercial operation on 10 May 2013 and, as per schedule, it will retire on 9 May 2033.
Capacity
The installed (gross) and derated (net) capacity of the power plant 26.772 MW and 25.50 MW respectively.
