Current Status: Operation
Mymensingh 200 MW Furnace Oil Power Plant, also known as United Mymensingh Power Plant, reciprocating engine-run power plant situated in Char Jatharthapur village of Laxir Char Union under Jamalpur Sadar Upazila in Jamalpur District of Bangladesh (Location: 24.5697, 89.4281). It is sponsored by United Mymensingh Power Limited (UMPL), a subsidiary of United Group, as a private Independent Power Producer (IPP) for 15 years. The sponsor declared its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 16 June 2018 and, as per schedule, the power plant will retire on 15 June 2033.

The installed (gross) and derated (net) capacity of United Mymensingh Power Limited is 205.38 and 200 MW respectively.
