Current Status: Operation
Maona 33 MW Gas Power Plant, also known as Summit Maona Power Plant, is a reciprocating engine-run power plant situated in Maona under Sreepur Upazila in Gazipur District of Bangladesh (Location: 24.1255, 90.2974). It is sponsored by Summit Power Limited (SPL), a subsidiary of Summit Group, as a Small Independent Power Producer (SIPP) for 15 years. The sponsor declared its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 11 May 2009 and, as per schedule, it is to retire on 11 May 2024.

The installed (gross) capacity of the power plant is 33 MW.
