Keraniganj 300 MW (APR) HSD Power Plant

Keraniganj 300 MW Diesel Power Plant, also known as Keraniganj APR Energy Power Plant, is a reciprocating engine-based power plant situated in Pangaon under Keraniganj Upazila in Dhaka District of Bangladesh (Location: 23.6544, 90.4527). It is sponsored by APR Energy Bangladesh Limited (AEBL), a subsidiary of US-based APR Energy Limited (AEL), as a private Independent Power Producer (IPP) for five years. The sponsor declared its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 10 August 2018 and, as per schedule, the power plant will retire on 9 August 2023.

The installed capacity of the power plant is 300 MW.
