Current Status: Operation
Juldha 100 MW Furnace Oil Power Plant (Unit-II), also known as Acorn Juldha Unit-2 Power Plant, is a reciprocating engine power plant situated in Dhangarchar of Juldha Union under Patiya Upazila in Chattogram District of Bangladesh (Location: 22.2988, 91.8076). It is sponsored by Acorn Infrastructure Services Unit-2 Limited (AISIIL), a subsidiary of Bangla Trac Limited, as a private Independent Power Producer (IPP) for 15 years. The sponsors declared its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 20 March 2020 and, as per schedule, the power plant will retire on 19 March 2035.
Capacity
The installed and net capacity of Juldha (Unit-II) Power Plant is 108.8 MW and 100 MW respectively.
