Gazaria 600 MW LNG Power Plant (Phase-1), is also known as Gazaria-I LNG Power Plant, is a planned Combined Cycle (CC) power plant to be situated under Gazaria Upazila in Munshiganj District of Bangladesh (Location: 23.5250, 90.6271). It is proposed by the Rural Power Company Limited (RPCL), a State-owned Enterprise (SOE) under Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB). According to the plan, the power plant will start commercial operation in June 2027.
Capacity
The installed (gross) and derated (net) capacity of the power plant is 600 MW and 550 MW respectively.
