Current Status: Operation
Feni 11 MW Gas Power Plant, also known as Doreen Feni Power Plant (Unit-I), is a reciprocating engine-based small power plant situated in Mohipal under Feni Sadar Upazila in Feni District of Bangladesh (Location: 23.0219, 91.3687). It is sponsored by Doreen Power House and Technologies Limited (DPHTL), a subsidiary of Doreen Group, as a Small Independent Power Plant (SIPP) for 15 years. DPGSL declared its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 22 April 2009 and, as per schedule, the power plant is to retire on 21 April 2024.
Capacity
The installed (gross) and derated (net) capacity of the power plant is 11.60 MW and 11MW respectively.
