Current Status: Operation
Narayanganj 3.2 MW Rooftop Solar Power Plant, also known as JPL-Robintex Rooftop Solar Power Plant, is constructed by Joules Power Limited (JPL) under Operation Expenditure (OPEX) model on the rooftop of Robintex (Bangladesh) Limited, Robin Knitwear Limited and Comptex Bangladesh Limited under Robintex Group situated in Bhulta, Narayanganj. The sponsor declared its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 11 April 2022 with an option of supplying to the national grid under Net Metering Policy. JPL invested BDT 190.61 million (USD 2.24 in 2021) to install the power plant and supply generated electricity to the companies for 20 years starting from COD (FE 2022).
